Dr. Idris is a distinguished human rights scholar, a Member of the Commission of Inquiry on Enforced Disappearances, a PhD graduate of the University of Cambridge, and the recipient of the Begum Rokeya Padak 2025 in recognition of her outstanding contributions to human rights.
